A few practical decisions now will help you get the design, finish and delivery you need for matchday.

Choose the right football flag size

Measure the space where your flag will be displayed before choosing a size. A 3 × 2ft flag is approximately 91 × 61cm and is available on selected designs. A 5 × 3ft flag is approximately 152 × 91cm; a 6 × 4ft flag gives you approximately 183 × 122cm for your wording and artwork.

For a larger display, compare options such as 8 × 6ft in the football flag size guide. Check your stadium’s size and fixing rules first. Each product’s selector shows the sizes available, and changing the proportions can change the layout of your design.

Compare 115gsm and 210gsm fabric

Our flag options include lightweight 115gsm knitted polyester and heavyweight 210gsm fabric. GSM describes the fabric weight in grams per square metre. Select a fabric in the designer to see the price for your chosen size, and ask our team if you need help deciding which option suits your display.

Our listed football flags include reinforced edges and eyelets. If your club asks for a particular fixing method or fire documentation, check the requirements with our team before ordering. Venue permission is separate from choosing a fabric, so confirm the rules for your fixture and stand.

Make your message easy to read

Start with the words you want people to notice first. A short message, a clear typeface and strong contrast between text and background help your design stay readable at a distance. Keep small details and important parts of a photograph away from the flag’s edges and eyelets.

The designer lets you personalise the layout with text, badges and uploaded images, including artwork in the corners where the template supports it. Upload the clearest original file you have, check spelling and review the whole preview again after changing size. Only use badges and artwork you have permission to reproduce; our artwork guidance explains what to check.

Football flags with fast UK delivery

Standard football flag delivery takes 3 working days from your order and artwork approval. For an urgent matchday, Express production costs £15 extra including VAT, charged once for all flags in the order. Eligible orders with approved artwork placed before 12pm UK time on a working day qualify for next working day delivery.

Express is for mainland UK addresses; weekends and bank holidays are excluded. After noon, processing starts the next working day. Usual shipping charges still apply at checkout. Can I design a football flag on my phone?

Yes. Choose your template, add text and upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo. The live preview updates as you edit, and you approve the design before adding it to your basket.

What is the difference between the fabrics?

The lightweight option is 115gsm knitted polyester. The heavyweight option is 210gsm fabric. Both are available on the flag products where shown; select the fabric to see its current price.

Can I take my flag into a stadium?

Stadium rules vary. Check your club’s requirements for flag dimensions, poles, fixing points and fire certification before ordering. Our flag listings include a fire label, with certification available on request. Contact us if your venue asks for particular documentation.

Can you make giant banners and custom sizes?

Yes. Send us your finished dimensions, quantity, artwork and event date using the giant banner enquiry form. We will confirm the material, finishing, price and delivery before production.

When will my order arrive?

Standard football flag delivery takes 3 working days. Express production costs £15 including VAT per order and gives next working day delivery when you order with approved artwork before 12pm UK time on a working day. Mainland UK; weekends and bank holidays excluded.

Yes. Choose Express production at the bottom of the flag designer or in your basket. It costs £15 including VAT for all flags in your order. Order before 12pm UK time on a working day with your design approved for next working day delivery. After noon, processing starts the next working day.
